Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to ensure your cake comes out easily and doesn’t stick.

  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. The vibrant red of the strawberries creates a beautiful base for our tremendous cake.

  3. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy. The cream cheese adds a luscious quality that enhances the dessert.

  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling, gently spreading it around but leaving some strawberry filling visible. This layering helps to create a delightful contrast in flavors and textures.

  5. Evenly sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the cream cheese and strawberry layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface for uniform baking.

  6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. This step encourages a tremendous golden crust to form, adding extra richness to your dessert.

  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling. Keep an eye on it towards the end of the baking time for that perfect golden finish.

  8. Let the cake cool to room temperature before serving. This cooling time helps the layers set perfectly. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired for a beautiful presentation.
