Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is crucial as it ensures even baking throughout the brownie bombs.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. This process helps create that tremendous texture that we all love in cookie dough.

  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until the mixture is well combined. The eggs add richness and that signature gooeyness we crave.

  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined. It’s important not to over-mix at this stage, as we want to maintain that tender texture.

  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  6. Prepare your brownie batter according to package instructions or your preferred homemade recipe. This layer is what holds the entire brownie bomb together.

  7. In a muffin tin, place spoonfuls of brownie batter first, filling each cavity about a third of the way. Then, add a generous scoop of cookie dough to the center of each, and cover with more brownie batter until the muffin cups are about three-quarters full.

  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are set. The center should remain slightly soft, giving that tremendous indulgent feel we aim for.

  9. Allow the brownie bombs to cool in the tin for about 10 minutes before carefully removing them. Enjoy your Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs while warm, or let them cool completely for a more solid indulgence.
