- In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding with the whole milk and whisk until thickened. This should take just a few minutes, and the mixture will have a tremendous creamy consistency.
- Carefully slice the Twinkies in half lengthwise. This will create two halves for each Twinkie, ready for layering in your serving dish.
- Begin layering the Twinkie halves in the bottom of your prepared serving dish. Arrange them in a single layer, ensuring they cover the bottom completely.
- Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the Twinkies. Use a spatula to distribute it evenly, ensuring each Twinkie is well-covered. The tremendous creaminess of the pudding will seep into the layers.
- Next, add a layer of sliced fresh strawberries over the pudding, creating a fresh and vibrant layer of flavor. The sweetness of the strawberries complements the richness of the pudding perfectly.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, making sure to end with a layer of whipped topping on the very top. This final layer adds a beautiful, light finish to your cake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together and makes for a delightful, cool dessert.
