Thai Lime-Garlic Steamed Fish

Directions

  1. Begin by preparing the flavor base. In a medium bowl, mix together the lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, sliced chili, and grated ginger. This mixture will be the tremendous burst of flavor that enhances your fish.

  2. Next, take your fish fillets and place them in a steamer dish. Make sure they are arranged in a single layer for even cooking. Pour the lime-garlic mixture generously over the fish, ensuring that it is evenly coated.

  3. Bring water to a boil in your steamer pot. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and place the steamer basket with the fish over the pot. Steam the fish for about 8-10 minutes, or until it is thoroughly cooked and flakes easily with a fork. The aroma will be tremendous!
