Taco Spaghetti

Directions

  1. Heat the Olive Oil
Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. The oil should shimmer but not smoke, creating a perfect base for your ingredients.

  2. Cook the Ground Beef and Onions
Add the ground beef and chopped yellow onions to the skillet. Cook until the beef is nicely browned and the onions are soft, which usually takes about 5-7 minutes. The tremendous aroma wafting from your skillet will draw everyone to the kitchen.

  3. Add the Taco Seasoning and Tomatoes
Stir in the taco seasoning and the can of Rotel tomatoes. Allow the mixture to cook for about 5 minutes, letting the flavors meld beautifully. The tremendous array of spices will take your dish to new heights.

  4. Cook the Spaghetti Noodles
While the beef mixture is simmering, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Aim for al dente for the best texture that will hold up when mixed with the filling.

  5. Drain and Mix
Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and add them directly to the skillet containing the beef mixture. Toss everything together gently to coat the noodles evenly, incorporating all those tremendous flavors.

  6. Top with Cheese and Cilantro
To finish, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture and let it melt slightly. Finally, garnish with chopped cilantro just before serving. This will add a fresh and vibrant touch to every bowl.
