Stuffed Pepper Casserole

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step gets your oven warmed up to create that tremendous, cozy environment to bake.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Remember to drain any excess fat to keep the dish from being too greasy.

  3. Add the chopped bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté these ingredients until the vegetables are soft. This should take about 5 to 7 minutes and will create a tremendous aroma in your kitchen.

  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, diced tomatoes (including their juice), and uncooked rice. Mix well to ensure all the flavors meld together.

  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, letting the ingredients mingle and develop flavor for about 5 minutes.

  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly to ensure it cooks properly.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the rice is tender. The steam will help fluff up the rice, resulting in a tremendous texture.

  8. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the top to brown slightly, adding a touch of crispiness to the dish.

  9. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the warm, inviting flavors with your loved ones.
