Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Start by setting your oven to the right temperature so that your cake bakes evenly, creating that tremendous golden top.

  2. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the strawberry pie filling evenly. Be sure to cover the bottom completely, ensuring that every bite has the sweet and tangy flavor of strawberries.

  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. This mixture should be creamy without lumps, perfect for dropping spoonfuls over the strawberries.

  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling. Aim for an even distribution to ensure you get that creamy cheesecake texture in every bite.

  5. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the cream cheese. You want to cover as much of the surface as possible, creating a beautiful contrast between the cake and the filling.

  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much of it as possible. The butter will help create that tremendous crispy crust that everyone loves on a dump cake.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Keep an eye on it, as oven temperatures can vary; you just want that lovely golden color.

  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy! Serve it warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate indulgence.
