Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. The sizzling sound as the oil heats up sets the tone for the tremendous flavors to come.
  2. Sear the brisket on both sides until browned. This step is essential as it develops a beautiful crust that locks in moisture and flavor.
  3. Remove the brisket and place it in the slow cooker. Make sure it’s positioned at the bottom to soak up all the goodness.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onion and minced garlic until softened. The aromatic steam rising from the pan adds an enchanting aroma to your kitchen.
  5. Pour the sautéed mixture over the brisket in the slow cooker. Let those delightful flavors mingle as they embrace the beef.
  6. Add beef broth to the slow cooker. This will ensure the brisket remains moist and flavor-rich throughout the cooking process.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender. This slow cooking allows the flavors to collide, resulting in a tremendously satisfying meal.
  8. Slice and serve with the pan juices. Drizzle the rich juices over the sliced brisket for a burst of flavor and a touch of elegance.
