Directions
-
Start With the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, and optional mayo or cream cheese. Add garlic powder and season with salt and black pepper to your taste. Stir in the fresh parsley. You should have a tremendous filling that is both creamy and chunky, ready to delight your taste buds.
-
Prepare the Biscuits: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the dough into individual biscuits. On a floured surface, flatten each biscuit into a round disk about 4-5 inches in diameter. This step is crucial for holding all the tremendous filling.
-
Stuff the Biscuits: Take 1-2 tablespoons of the filling and scoop it into the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the edges over the filling to seal it well. Pinch the edges together to ensure that none of the delicious mixture escapes during baking. Place the stuffed biscuits seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
Brush and Bake: Lightly brush the tops of the stuffed biscuits with melted butter to give them a golden appearance. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 13–15 minutes, or until they are beautifully golden brown. The aroma wafting from your oven will be absolutely tremendous.
-
Serve Warm: Once baked, let the biscuit melts rest for a few minutes before serving. This step ensures that the filling does not burn your mouth when you take that first delicious bite. Optionally, serve them with a side of spicy aioli, garlic butter, or marinara sauce for dipping.
