Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). This is an important step to ensure that your pizza bombs bake evenly and achieve that ideal golden brown hue.
-
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. This tremendous garlic butter mixture will enhance flavor and provide a wonderful aroma as the bombs bake.
-
On a floured surface, roll out the biscuit dough. Cut it into circles to make enough room for the filling. The thickness is key; you want them just thick enough to hold everything without bursting.
-
Place a slice of mozzarella cheese and a few mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough circle. Don’t be shy; you want a substantial filling—this is where the tremendous flavor comes from.
-
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Make sure there are no gaps, as any openings may allow the delicious filling to escape while baking.
-
Brush the tops of the bombs with the garlic butter mixture you prepared earlier. This will not only add flavor but also create a beautiful, shiny crust.
-
Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread them out evenly to ensure each one bakes to perfection without overcrowding.
-
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown. Keep an eye on them toward the end to ensure they don’t overcook. Your kitchen will smell heavenly within minutes.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. It’s hard to resist diving in, but a minute or two will help prevent burnt tongues!
