Pepperoni Pizza Bombs

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). This is an important step to ensure that your pizza bombs bake evenly and achieve that ideal golden brown hue.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. This tremendous garlic butter mixture will enhance flavor and provide a wonderful aroma as the bombs bake.

  3. On a floured surface, roll out the biscuit dough. Cut it into circles to make enough room for the filling. The thickness is key; you want them just thick enough to hold everything without bursting.

  4. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese and a few mini pepperoni slices in the center of each dough circle. Don’t be shy; you want a substantial filling—this is where the tremendous flavor comes from.

  5. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal. Make sure there are no gaps, as any openings may allow the delicious filling to escape while baking.

  6. Brush the tops of the bombs with the garlic butter mixture you prepared earlier. This will not only add flavor but also create a beautiful, shiny crust.

  7. Place the bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread them out evenly to ensure each one bakes to perfection without overcrowding.

  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown. Keep an eye on them toward the end to ensure they don’t overcook. Your kitchen will smell heavenly within minutes.

  9. Let cool slightly before serving. It’s hard to resist diving in, but a minute or two will help prevent burnt tongues!
