Peanut Butter Paradise Cheesecake Brownies

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to ensure easy removal later.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined. It should look smooth and glossy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. This is key to achieving a tremendous texture in your brownies.
  4. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies tender.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. This layer will form the base.
  6. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth. You’re aiming for a creamy texture that can be spread easily.
  7. Spread the peanut butter layer over the brownie base in the pan. Use a spatula to ensure it covers evenly.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter layer. Swirl gently with a knife to create a beautiful marbled effect.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. Don’t forget, a few moist crumbs are okay!
  10. Let the brownies cool before cutting them into squares. This will help them set perfectly.
