Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish to ensure nothing sticks.
-
In a saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate chips together over low heat. Stir continually until the mixture is smooth and combined, then remove it from the heat.
-
Next, stir in the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to create a cohesive mixture.
-
Gently add the granulated sugar, flour, and cocoa powder to the bowl. Mix until just combined, avoiding excessive stirring to keep the brownies tender.
-
Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly to form the base of your tremendous dessert.
-
In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, flour, egg, and milk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
-
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer and sprinkle the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips generously on top.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheesecake top is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
-
Allow the brownies to cool before slicing them into squares, making sure each piece showcases that tremendous, layered effect.
