One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta

Directions

  1. In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. The oil should glisten slightly when it’s ready.

  2. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant. The aroma will be tremendous, filling your kitchen with a delightful scent.

  3. Carefully add the pasta to the pot, stirring to coat it evenly in the oil and garlic.

  4. Pour the milk over the pasta, allowing it to come to a gentle boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a gentle simmer.

  5. Cook according to the pasta package instructions, stirring occasionally to ensure that the pasta cooks evenly and absorbs the creamy goodness. Aim for al dente texture, which means it should be tender yet still have a slight bite.

  6. When the pasta is cooked, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. The cheese will melt into the sauce, creating a tremendous creamy consistency that clings to each piece of pasta.

  7. Season your dish with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting according to your preference.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, adding a touch of color to your dish. Serve hot and enjoy the delightful flavors!
