In a blender, combine the hulled strawberries and cubed watermelon. Blend until smooth, allowing the natural sweetness of the fruits to shine through. The tremendous synergy between these two fruits creates a vibrant, refreshing puree that is truly a delight.
-
Taste the mixture and evaluate the sweetness. If you prefer your popsicles a bit sweeter, add honey or maple syrup. Follow this by adding the lemon juice, which will brighten the flavors, and blend again until all ingredients are combined perfectly.
-
Once your mixture is uniform, pour it carefully into popsicle molds. Be mindful of your pour to ensure an even distribution, which adds to the beauty of the final product.
-
After filling the molds, insert sticks into each one. Place the molds in the freezer and allow the popsicles to freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours until they are solid. The waiting period might feel long, but the anticipation builds a tremendous excitement for the treat ahead.
-
When you’re ready to enjoy your homemade popsicles, itβs time to release them from their molds. Simply run warm water over the outside of the mold for a few seconds. This quick trick will loosen the popsicles, making it easier to pull them out without any hassle.
