The Base

- 3⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 1⁄2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
The Coconut-Pecan Topping
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
