No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Directions

  1. Begin by creating the crust. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Stir until the crumbs are fully coated. Press this tremendous mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie pan to form an even crust, making sure to extend it up the sides of the pan for a comprehensive base.

  2. Next, melt the chocolate chips. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl, heating them in 30-second intervals and stirring in between until smooth. Alternatively, melt the chocolate on the stove using a double boiler, stirring continuously. Once melted, allow the chocolate to cool slightly; this step is crucial to avoid it seizing up later.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar. Mix them well until the mixture is completely smooth and free of lumps. Once this is accomplished, gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined, creating a fluffy and light peanut butter filling that is simply divine.

  4. Now, it’s time to assemble the pie. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust, making sure to create an even layer. Once the peanut butter filling is in place, pour the cooled, melted chocolate over the top, spreading it out carefully to cover the filling completely.

  5. The final step involves chilling the pie. Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until it’s set. This allows all the flavors to meld together and ensures a fabulous texture when it’s time to serve. Once set, cut into slices and serve chilled for a truly delectable dessert.
