Directions
-
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. This will take a few minutes. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form. This is a tremendous step because achieving the right consistency is key to a light and airy filling.
-
In another bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter until it is smooth. If your peanut butter is quite thick, you might consider warming it slightly in the microwave for about 10 seconds to make it easier to mix.
-
Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. This should be done carefully to keep the airiness of the whipped cream. The combination of these two components will create a tremendous and fluffy filling.
-
Once combined, spread the mixture evenly into your prepared graham cracker crust. Make sure to smooth the top for an even finish.
-
Allow it to set in the fridge for at least 4 hours. If you have the time, consider leaving it overnight for the best texture.
-
Before serving, drizzle with chocolate ganache on top. This adds a gorgeous finish and a rich chocolate touch that is irresistible.
