Mississippi Roast

Directions

  1. Begin by placing the beef chuck roast directly in the slow cooker. This cut of meat is perfect for slow cooking, allowing it to become tender and flavorful over time.

  2. Next, sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the entire surface of the roast. This adds a tremendous burst of flavor that will permeate the meat as it cooks.

  3. Then, take the packet of au jus gravy mix and evenly distribute it over the roast. The combination of these seasoning mixes is what makes this dish truly stand out.

  4. Now, place the stick of butter on top of the seasoned roast. As it melts during cooking, it will create a rich gravy that enhances the overall taste.

  5. Add the pepperoncini peppers around the roast. If you’re a fan of tangy flavors, feel free to pour in some of the pepperoncini juice for an added kick.

  6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. You’ll know it’s ready when the meat is fork-tender and shreds easily.

  7. Finally, take two forks and shred the beef right in the slow cooker. Mix it with the gravy for a tremendous, mouthwatering presentation that will have everyone at the table excited for a taste.
