Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan, ensuring it’s ready for those tremendous brownies.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. This combination gives the brownies their sweetness and moisture.

  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. This ensures a smooth texture that is vital for that fudgy consistency.

  4. Stir in the vanilla extract to add depth to the flavors of the batter.

  5. In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the brownies tender.

  6. Now, fold in the chopped Milky Way Bars, making sure they are evenly distributed. This will add blissful little pockets of chocolate and caramel.

  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out, making sure it reaches the corners.

  8. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. This will be the luscious cheesecake layer.

  9. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Use a spatula to spread it gently without disturbing the brownie base underneath.

  10. Drizzle the caramel sauce on top of the cream cheese layer. Then, with a knife, swirl both layers together, creating a beautiful marbled effect.

  11. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer and smooth it out as evenly as possible.

  12. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. The exact time may vary based on your oven.

  13. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares. This helps to set the layers beautifully for serving.
