Korean Ground Beef Bowl

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger to create a tremendous marinade. This simple yet flavorful blend will impart an incredible taste to the ground beef.

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned. Make sure to drain any excess fat to keep the dish lighter and healthier.

  3. Add the marinade to the cooked beef. Stir to combine, allowing the beef to absorb every bit of that marvelous flavor.

  4. Once combined, add the broccoli and carrots to the skillet. Cook the mixture until the vegetables are tender but still vibrant. This should take about 5-7 minutes, ensuring that they maintain a slight crunch.

  5. Serve the beef mixture over a bed of steaming cooked rice. Top with chopped green onions and sprinkle with sesame seeds for an added touch of flavor and presentation.
