Korean Beef Noodles

Ingredients

The Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, minced

The Base

  • 6-8 ounces ramen noodles (or rice noodles/glass noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

The Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2-4 teaspoons chili paste (plus more if desired)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (only if needed)

The Extras

  • 3/4 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 4 green onions, sliced thin
