Irresistible Pecan Caramel Chocolate Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). To achieve uniform baking and easy removal, generously grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, blend the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix these dry ingredients thoroughly to ensure an even distribution.

  3. Add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Beat everything at medium speed until the cake batter is well combined, bringing joy to your kitchen with its rich, chocolatey aroma.

  4. Carefully stir in the boiling water. At this point, the batter will be quite thin, but this is precisely what gives the cake its tender crumb.
