In a bowl, combine the light brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, light soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce to create the marinade. This mixture is the heart of the dish, giving it tremendous flavor.

Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. For optimal flavor, let them soak for at least 1 hour or, even better, overnight.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. The grill should be hot enough to give your chicken that tremendous grill marks and char.

Once preheated, remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side or until the chicken is fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).

Serve the grilled chicken over a bed of cooked rice. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the top to elevate the flavors even more.
