Prepare the cake:
Begin your tremendous journey by preparing the cake mix according to the package instructions. Once mixed, pour the batter into a 20×30 cm (9×13 inch) baking pan. Bake as directed, and allow the cake to cool completely before adding layers. -
Ice cream layer:
Once the cake has cooled, it’s time to add a much-loved layer of ice cream. Use a spatula to spread the softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the cooled cake. Make sure to cover the entire surface for an even, delightful bite. Afterward, place the cake in the freezer for 2–3 hours until the ice cream is firm and sets. -
Chocolate sauce:
While the ice cream sets, prepare the hot fudge. Gently warm the chocolate sauce in a microwave or over low heat on the stovetop until it becomes pourable but not boiling. Carefully spread the warm chocolate sauce over the frozen ice cream layer, ensuring it reaches every corner. Return the cake to the freezer and let it chill for another 1–2 hours. -
Serving:
When you’re ready to serve this tremendous dessert, take the cake out of the freezer. Slice it into delightful pieces, and if you wish to elevate the experience further, pipe fluffy whipped cream on top. You can also sprinkle chocolate shavings or colorful sprinkles for a festive touch.
