High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

Directions

  1. Begin by preparing the honey garlic sauce. In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, and 3 minced garlic cloves. This tremendous mixture will serve as the flavor base for our shrimp.

  2. Next, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Make sure the pan is hot enough; this will give your shrimp a tremendous sear once added.

  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking until they turn pink, which should take about 2-3 minutes per side. Watch closely, as overcooking can make them rubbery.

  4. Once the shrimp are perfectly cooked, pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and adhere to the shrimp. The aroma in the kitchen will be simply irresistible.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Give everything a gentle stir to combine.

  6. Serve the shrimp over a bed of steamed rice or alongside your favorite vegetables. This dish is a tremendous way to make a quick dinner feel special and satisfying.
