Heavenly Cupcakes

Directions

  1. Begin by preparing your favorite chocolate cupcakes. Bake them according to the recipe or package instructions and allow them to cool completely. Taking the time to let the cupcakes cool is important as it prevents the filling from melting away.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter with the confectioners’ sugar. This mixture will become your luxurious filling. Add vanilla extract and enough heavy cream (2-4 tablespoons) until you achieve a fluffy texture. The blending of these ingredients results in a tremendous filling that can elevate the cupcake experience.

  3. Once your cupcakes have cooled, use a sharp knife or a cupcake corer to remove the center of each cupcake, creating a small well. Try to keep the removed portion intact, as it will serve as a cap later.

  4. Carefully fill each cupcake with the peanut butter mixture. Aim for about a tablespoon of filling per cupcake. You will notice how tremendous it feels to see the filling peeking out from the top!

  5. For the topping, whip 1 cup of heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar while continuing to whip until the mixture reaches stiff peaks. This will create a delightful sweet topping that contrasts wonderfully with the rich cupcake.

  6. Using a piping bag (or a simple zip-lock bag with the corner snipped off), pipe the whipped cream over each filled cupcake. You can be artistic with it, creating swirls or dollops as you desire.

  7. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in increments of 30 seconds, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the whipped topping for a beautiful finish.

  8. Finally, sprinkle the chopped salted peanuts on top of the chocolate drizzle. This adds a crunchy texture that completes your tremendous Heavenly Cupcakes.
