The Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (for caramel sauce)
- Pinch of salt

- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
