Directions
-
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. This step is crucial for developing flavor in the dish. Drain the excess fat to prevent the goulash from becoming greasy.
-
Add the chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onions become translucent, stirring frequently. This will add a tremendous depth of flavor to the mixture.
-
Stir in the salt, celery salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Then, pour in the tomato juice and water. Mix everything well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
-
Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the macaroni noodles and the beef bouillon cubes. The bouillon will enrich the broth, providing a much more tremendous depth of taste.
-
Reduce the heat, cover the skillet, and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. This will allow the macaroni to cook through and absorb the flavors of the broth.
-
After cooking, check the tenderness of the macaroni. Season with a dash of pepper and garnish with chopped green onions for added freshness before serving.
