Directions
-
Begin by heating 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to warm up, creating a tremendous base for your stir-fry.
-
Once the oil is hot, add the sliced mushrooms to the pan. Let them cook for about 3 to 4 minutes. Watch as they turn golden brown, releasing their incredible flavor.
-
After the mushrooms have browned beautifully, add the asparagus. Cook the asparagus for another 3 to 4 minutes until they become tender but still crisp. This combination of textures will be tremendous in every bite.
-
Now, push the sautéed vegetables to the side of the pan, making room for the shrimp.
-
Add the shrimp and minced garlic to the empty side of the skillet. Cook the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. It’s hard to resist the tremendous aroma that fills your kitchen at this point.
-
Once the shrimp are perfectly cooked, it’s time to bring everything together. Pour in the soy sauce and toss all ingredients in the skillet.
-
Finally, season the stir-fry with black pepper and, if desired, add a pinch of chili flakes or a splash of lemon juice for an extra kick.
-
Serve your Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry immediately, either on its own or over a bed of rice or cauliflower rice, and enjoy the delightful blend of flavors!
