Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Potatoes

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This step is essential for achieving that crispy texture we love in the potatoes.

  2. In a pot, boil the quartered baby potatoes until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Once they are fork-tender, drain them and set aside. This pre-cooking makes the roasting process quicker and more effective.

  3. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. The oil should shimmer slightly, signaling it’s ready for the steak.

  4. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned for about 2-3 minutes. This step is significant as browning the meat creates a tremendous depth of flavor.

  5. Add the minced garlic and butter to the skillet, stirring gently until the butter is melted and the steak is cooked to your liking. The garlic will release its wonderful aroma, intoxicating your kitchen.

  6. Combine the cooked potatoes with the steak and toss to coat. Make sure every piece is covered in that delicious garlic butter sauce.

  7. Transfer everything to a baking dish and roast in the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy and golden. This final step enhances the flavors and gives the dish its perfect texture.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. This not only adds a pop of color but also a fresh flavor that contrasts nicely with the richness of the garlic butter.
