Frozen 2-Ingredient Watermelon Sorbet

Directions

  1. Cut the watermelon into chunks and remove seeds.
Start by selecting a ripe watermelon. The darker the spot where it sat on the ground, the sweeter the fruit. Cut it into manageable chunks, ensuring you remove any seeds. This step is essential for achieving that tremendous smoothness in your sorbet.

  2. Blend the watermelon and lime juice together until smooth.
Place the watermelon chunks into a high-speed blender or food processor. Pour in the fresh lime juice. Blend on high until the mixture reaches a silky consistency. This tremendous fusion of flavors will tantalize your taste buds and set the foundation for your sorbet.

  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for about 4 hours or until firm.
Transfer your blended mixture into a flat, freezer-safe container. The flat shape will help it freeze evenly and quickly. Allow it to sit in the freezer for approximately 4 hours or until completely firm.

  4. Scoop and serve chilled.
Once the sorbet has frozen to perfection, take it out of the freezer. Use an ice cream scoop or a sturdy spoon to serve the chilled sorbet into bowls. Garnish with lime zest or fresh mint for an added touch of elegance.
