Easy Watermelon Sorbet

Directions

  1. The first step in this tremendous adventure is to prepare the watermelon. Start by cubing a seedless watermelon into bite-sized pieces. Make sure to remove any seeds and keep the cubes uniform.

  2. Once you have your watermelon cubes ready, place them in a single row on a lined baking tray. This allows the pieces to freeze evenly. Then, pop the tray into the freezer and let those juicy cubes freeze for a few hours or, for the best results, overnight.

  3. When the watermelon is completely frozen, it’s time to bring them back to life as sorbet. Add the frozen watermelon cubes into a food processor.

  4. Next, pour in the coconut milk. This will give your sorbet a creamy consistency that pairs beautifully with the watermelon.

  5. If you like, add lime juice for a tangy twist or honey for an extra touch of sweetness at this point. Both options can enhance the flavor tremendously, so choose based on your taste preferences.

  6. Blend the mixture on high. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the food processor to ensure everything blends evenly.

  7. Continue this blending process for about 5-6 minutes, until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

  8. Once ready, you can either indulge immediately or transfer your watermelon sorbet into a freezer-safe container. If you choose to store it, let it thaw slightly before serving for the perfect texture.
