Easy Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is crucial to ensure a tremendous rise in your cobbler!

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. This mixture is the foundation of your cobbler.

  3. Gradually stir in the milk and melted butter until all ingredients blend harmoniously. It’s important that everything is well combined for that wonderful texture.

  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the bottom.

  5. Open the can of peaches and spoon them over the batter, including the syrup. Do not stir. This layering allows the flavors to meld beautifully as it bakes.

  6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes. The top should turn golden-brown and have a tremendous, inviting aroma.

  7. Once baked, remove the cobbler from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. This cooling period allows the topping to set beautifully.
