Easy Mozzarella Stuffed Meatloaf

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    This is a crucial first step to ensure the meatloaf cooks evenly and thoroughly.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    Mix until well blended, ensuring all ingredients are fused together to create a tremendous base for your meatloaf.

  3. Form half of the meat mixture into a loaf shape on a baking sheet.
    This will serve as the bottom layer of your meatloaf, so take care to mold it evenly.

  4. Place the mozzarella cheese in the center of the loaf, then use the remaining meat mixture to cover the cheese.
    Shape it into a loaf again, making sure the cheese is entirely encased for a tremendous melty center when baked.

  5. Bake in the oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
    This ensures that the meatloaf is cooked thoroughly while allowing the cheese to melt beautifully.

  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
