Easy Cheesy Sausage Dip

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Be sure to drain the excess fat to keep the dip from becoming greasy.

  2. Once the sausage is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add in the softened cream cheese, along with the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Stir gently until everything melts and combines into a tremendous, creamy base.

  3. Next, introduce the diced tomatoes with green chilies into the mix. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and onion powder. Remember to season with salt and pepper to taste. The additional spices will elevate the flavor and add depth to your dip.

  4. Allow the dip to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until it is all heated through. Stir occasionally to ensure nothing sticks to the skillet.

  5. Finally, serve the dip warm with tortilla chips or your choice of crackers. Each crunchy bite is a perfect contrast to the creamy dip, making it an irresistible treat.
