Deviled Egg Pasta Salad

Ingredients

The Filling

  • 6 hardboiled eggs
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar, or fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

The Base

  • 8 ounces small pasta (such as elbow macaroni or shell pasta)
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
