Decadent Air Fryer Peanut Butter Cookies

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth. This will create a tremendous base that is both fluffy and light, perfect for your cookies.
  2. Mix in the creamy peanut butter until well combined. Ensure that there are no lumps; the mixture should be velvety and delightful.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  4. If you choose to add brown sugar, chocolate chips, or chopped peanuts, fold those into the dough now for a tremendous flavor boost.
  5. Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop generous spoonfuls of dough onto the air fryer basket, spacing them out to allow for spreading.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Watch for a beautiful golden hue that signifies the cookies are ready.
  7. Let the cookies cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. This step will help them set and maintain their tremendous texture.
