Cucumber Dill Salad

Directions

  1. Start by placing the yogurt in a small bowl. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, grated garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined. This yogurt dressing will add a tremendous creaminess to the salad. Set this bowl aside.

  2. Next, take your cucumbers and slice them. Cut each cucumber in half lengthwise, then slice each half into 3mm / 1/8" thick pieces. The sliced cucumbers should have a satisfying crunch.

  3. Now, take your red onion and finely slice it. The thin slices will add a nice zing without overpowering the salad.

  4. In a large salad bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, red onion, and chopped dill. These ingredients together create a colorful base and a tremendous flavor palette.

  5. Pour the yogurt dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently. Ensure everything is well coated in the creamy dressing.

  6. Finally, serve the salad at room temperature for the best taste, or you may keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to serve. It’s a perfect dish to prepare in advance for those busy summer days.
