Crock Pot Mississippi Meatloaf

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, sugar, 1 packet of au jus gravy mix, and 1 packet of ranch seasoning. This mixture forms a tremendous base, binding the flavors beautifully.

  2. Add the ground beef (or alternative meat) to the bowl, mixing until well combined. The goal here is a harmonious blend that promises a flavor-filled dining experience.

  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it gently in the Crock Pot, centered to ensure even cooking. This step is key to achieving a perfectly shaped meatloaf that boasts tender, moist slices.

  4. Sprinkle the remaining au jus gravy mix and ranch seasoning over the top of the meatloaf. This last-minute seasoning creates a delightful crust, enhancing the overall taste of your dish.

  5. Cook the meatloaf on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. As it cooks, your kitchen will fill with a tremendous aroma that invites everyone to the table, making it hard to resist.

  6. Once cooked through, allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This resting period is essential for keeping the meatloaf juicy and ensuring those flavors remain locked in.
