Creamy Strawberry Cheesecake

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Make sure your oven is preheated, as a consistent temperature is crucial for baking a cheesecake to perfection.

  2. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. This combination creates a tremendous base that holds everything together beautifully.

  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan, making it firm and even. Use your fingers or the bottom of a measuring cup to press down hard. This step is essential for a solid crust, which will balance the creamy filling.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well to ensure there are no lumps. The tremendous creaminess comes from making sure your cream cheese is at room temperature.

  5. Pour in the fresh strawberry puree and flour, mixing until everything is combined. The strawberry puree not only adds flavor but also a beautiful color to your filling.

  6. Carefully pour the cream cheese mixture onto the crust in the springform pan. Spread it evenly to ensure even baking.

  7. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. After baking, turn off the oven and crack the door for around 1 hour. This prevents the cheesecake from cracking due to sudden temperature changes.

  8. Allow the cheesecake to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving. Chilling enhances the creamy texture and allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
