Creamy Oreo Peanut Butter Cheesecake

Directions

  1. Beat the Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. This should take about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.

  2. Add Peanut Butter and Sugar: Next, add the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined, creating a tremendous and rich filling.

  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This will bring a light and airy texture to your cheesecake.

  4. Fold Together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Use a spatula to incorporate it well, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.

  5. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create a solid base for your cheesecake.

  6. Add the Filling: Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula to ensure an even surface.

  7. Chill the Cheesecake: Refrigerate your cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or until it is set and firm. This chilling time is crucial for achieving the desired texture.

  8. Decorate and Serve: Before serving, decorate the cheesecake with additional whipped cream and crushed Oreo cookies. This not only adds to the flavor but also makes for a tremendous presentation.
