Crabby Shrimp-Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs

Directions

  1. Begin by slicing your French baguette into thick rounds. They should be approximately an inch in thickness—this will give you the perfect sturdy base for the filling. Next, heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly toast each piece in a drizzle of olive oil. This step will ensure that every slice is slightly crispy and ready to hold that tremendous seafood mixture.

  2. In a separate skillet, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, stirring constantly so it doesn’t burn. Once fragrant, introduce the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning them with salt, pepper, and if you fancy, a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little kick. Cook until the shrimp are tender, absorbing all those tremendous garlic notes.

  3. After the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a mixing bowl. If you decided to include lump crab meat, this is the time to add it along with the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and chopped parsley. Mix everything together until combined—this filling will be what sets your garlic bread bombs apart!

  4. Generously pile the seafood and cheese mixture onto each round toast slice. Don’t be shy! A good portion will ensure that every bite is packed with flavor, making your guests smile with every huge, cheesy mouthful.

  5. Place the stuffed slices on a baking sheet, making sure they’re spaced out for even cooking. Now, place the tray under the broiler for about 3–5 minutes. Keep a close eye on them until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden. Once they reach that visually pleasing point, finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a vibrant touch.
