Copycat Taco Bell Mexican Pizzas

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with taco seasoning and water until fully cooked. This will create that tremendous base flavor that is essential for any good taco filling.

  2. While the beef cooks, heat oil in a frying pan. Lightly fry the tortillas until they’re crispy but not too dark. A golden hue is perfect for supporting all the tremendous toppings to come.

  3. On half of each tortilla, spread a generous layer of refried beans, followed by the beef mixture. Then, go ahead and pile on the cheeses, diced tomatoes, olives, green onions, and chilies if you like a bit of heat.

  4. Fold the tortilla over to make a taco shape. Carefully place it back in the frying pan and fry until it’s golden and crispy. This step is crucial for achieving that satisfying crunch that makes each bite so delightful.
