In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisking them well ensures a smooth and creamy mixture that’s easy to combine with your dry ingredients.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix them together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this will affect the texture of your cake.

Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula. The thick batter is what leads to that wonderful cake texture.

For the cinnamon swirl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Once mixed, sprinkle this mixture generously over the batter in the pan.

Using a knife or a skewer, gently swirl the filling into the batter. Do this in a back-and-forth motion to create beautiful streaks of cinnamon throughout the cake.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean when the cake is properly baked.
