Ingredients
The Base:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder (sifted)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot water (or hot coffee – for aroma)
The Filling:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 200 ml liquid cream
- 150 g butter (at room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
The Topping:
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups M&M’s
- Optional: chocolate chips, colored sprinkles.
