Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together with a mixer. Beat for 2–3 minutes until the mixture looks light and fluffy; it’s a tremendous step in creating the perfect cookie dough texture.

  2. Next, add in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is smooth and well combined.

  3. Slowly add the flour and salt to the bowl, mixing until a soft dough forms. Make sure there are no dry flour bits left, ensuring a rich and creamy filling.

  4. Stir in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips, allowing the dough to become even more delicious and inviting.

  5. Scoop pieces of the dough and roll them into balls, roughly the size of a tablespoon. Place these dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  6. Freeze the balls for at least 1 hour. This ensures that they maintain their shape when being wrapped in the brownie.

  7. After the cookie dough balls are frozen, cut the cooled brownies into 2–3 cm cubes. Each cube should be a nice little treat that pairs perfectly with the filling.

  8. Flatten each brownie piece slightly to create a surface for wrapping around the cookie dough.

  9. Take a frozen dough ball and wrap each piece of brownie around it, sealing it completely. This process is crucial for a tremendous explosion of flavors when you take a bite.

  10. Return the wrapped brownie bombs to the freezer for another 30 minutes to set everything in place.

  11. While the brownie bombs are chilling, melt the chocolate coating in accordance with package instructions until it’s smooth and glossy. This chocolate is what will bring everything together.

  12. Carefully dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully covered. Allow excess chocolate to drain off before placing them on a wire rack or parchment paper.

  13. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the remaining mini chocolate chips on top to add an extra layer of flavor and visual appeal.

  14. Let the brownie bombs sit in the refrigerator until the chocolate coating is fully set. This step is essential for that perfect finish.

  15. Serve the brownie bombs cold or at room temperature. Each bite provides a tremendous balance of rich chocolate and chewy cookie dough that’s sure to impress.
