Ingredients
The Base
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (65g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
- 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) hot strong brewed coffee
The Filling
- 1 1/2 cups (340g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 4-5 cups (480-600g) powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) caramel sauce
- 2-4 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
The Ganache
- 1/2 cup (90g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
The Decoration
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
