Chili Mac Soup

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent. This step not only sets the foundation of flavor but also creates a tremendous aroma that fills your kitchen.

  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. If there’s excess fat, drain it away to keep the soup hearty without being greasy. This enhances the overall flavor profile tremendously.

  3. Stir in the chili seasoning, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring this rich mixture to a simmer, allowing the flavors to meld together beautifully.

  4. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni and kidney beans. Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until the macaroni is tender. The boiling pasta adds a wonderful texture while soaking up all those tremendous flavors.

  5. Stir in grated cheddar cheese until melted. This creamy addition will elevate your soup, making every spoonful a delight. Season with salt and pepper to taste to bring out the richness.
