Chicken Pillows with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This step is crucial because a well-heated oven contributes to the perfect puffiness of the dough.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. This mixture will be the heart of the Chicken Pillows, so ensure it’s tremendously creamy and well seasoned.

  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a floured surface and separate it into triangles. Work thoughtfully to maintain the shape of each piece.

  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. The temptation to add more is tremendous, but a little goes a long way. You want to seal them properly later.

  5. Roll the dough up from the wide end to the tip, sealing the edges securely. This will encase the delicious filling inside.

  6. Place the rolled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This will help avoid any sticking and ensure even cooking.
