Cheesy Beef and Potato Soup

Directions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. You want to create a tremendous base for your soup.

  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until they are softened and fragrant. This step is essential as it builds the flavor profile.

  3. Next, add the ground beef to the pot. Cook until browned, usually around 5-7 minutes. Remember to drain any excess fat for a cleaner taste.

  4. Stir in the diced potatoes and beef broth. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. You want the potatoes to be tender, as they provide texture to your tremendous soup.
